Students cannot always see a clock in an exam hall or room.
They may be far away or behind a pillar.
The clock may be behind them.

Students should wear a watch and be used to timing themselves.

One of the most common issues raised by students is that they ran out of time.

Practice at home on timed papers – as a parent please hurry your child along if appropriate.

Encourage them to skip tricky questions and to go back to them if they have time.
