A good foundation is the key to all later learning. When children begin school they are at many different levels. It is clear to teachers and children who are doing well with their studies even from reception. This information is not always shared with parents, as schools are reluctant to share this information. However if you know how your child is doing you can help. This is the time to begin a love of life long learning. To see themselves as successful in early years gives children the confidence to face new challenges as they are encountered. As they begin to understand and shine they become aware that they can learn and from that comes high expectation, courage and enthusiasm.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are taught in a fun, structured and happy environment by highly experienced tutors. Using exciting resources and plenty of reinforcement, early years children have fun working in small groups (a maximum of six students). They learn through pen and paper exercises, games and spoken exercises. Children are taught both Maths and English in a one hour class each week and are given a small amount of homework so parents can work with them to achieve their targets.
Confidence from an early age leads to success.
